My father likes to tell the story of when he told my brother (who was 7 at the time) that I had been born. They were in the car and on their way to the hospital, when my father broke the news:
- "Son, I want to give you the good news that you have a new sister."
- "You mean the baby? The baby is a GIRL?"
- "Yes, she is!"
- "Turn off that radio, Dad! I don't want to listen to music anymore!"
Of course, the moment he saw me, he was a goner. So there's hope!

Congratulations!! My oldest is a boy and my youngest is a girl and it is such a sweet dynamic.
Quick cute story: My sister told my nephew that the new baby was going to be a brother and he angrily said, "But I'M the brother!!!" I guess you can never please them.
Have fun and beware of the addiction of girls' clothing. I was never a pink person, nor did I particularly like girls' clothes until I became a mother of one. You'll see...
