I took the boys to story time today. They hated it--both of them. And I can't say I blame them. This story hour was clearly designed with little girls in mind, as it featured a living, breathing ballerina. She was decked out in head-to-toe pink, she had a shimmery tiara on her head, and she taught the kids a thirty minute dance class. I thought she was adorable, but the boys weren't having it.

After dance class was adjourned I packed them up in the car and we went in search of something a little more masculine. We ended up at the do-it-yourself-car-wash. Kids love the car wash, especially these two.

They sat in the car as I rinsed it down, did a quick once-over with the foaming brush, and put it through the final rinse. As soon as I'd stop squirting I could hear the boys giggling. They were loving it.

But when the final rinse was finished, I noticed something strange...there were bubbles running down the inside of the backseat windows. Actually, there were lots of bubbles running down the backseat windows...and the seats...and the kids...and my backpack.

Apparently the boys' deductive reasoning skills are far more advanced than I gave them credit for. They wanted to play with the bubbles, so they cracked their windows--just enough to let the bubbles in, but not far enough to grab my attention.

Good thinking gentlemen, good thinking! Way to work together.

Samye...Halle would have loved the ballet class...I actually thought of her during it. She would have been on princess overload!

This reminds me of when I left the moon roof of Allan's car open overnight in April during a warm streak. I didn't expect it to snow!

Ahh kids. They’re like little evil geniuses.

Why those little...! I hope it didn't ruin the interior but you've got to hand them the evil genius thing :)

Don't forget to give everyone a far-in-advance heads up when/if you change your blog address. I wonder what it will be, maybe "chiropractorsinacutebrickhouse.blogspot.com"?
