Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! Personally, I don't get very excited about these random little holidays--but my mother? Now she's another story...
Now you know where I get it from.
If you thought that was funny, you should see my mother at a wedding. I distinctly remember when my mom was "cut off" by the concerned bar tender at my cousin Nick's reception. I've never seen her so offended in my life--after all, she hadn't had a single drop of liquor. Come now, must everyone persecute an innocent woman for her natural zest for life?
But if you really want to laugh, you should see my mother, at a wedding, after a glass of wine or two--sometimes, if you play your cards right, she'll do a little bit of stand-up.

Wow! That's one uninhibited mom!
Well, that explains a few things!
Your mom is a great dancer! Where did she get that amazing outfit? ;)
Can I borrow that outfit? Larry and I wanted to be Lord of the Dancers for Halloween this year!
WOW..she's got some skills!
ooh boy, since I'm now appearing here and on FB, I'm glad I opted out of a spin at the end..since my "skirt" is one of Dad's t-shirts:)
The first time I watched this, it was at the library where there was no sound. Let me tell you, the music makes it so much better. You didn't tell me your mom was a leprechaun!
my mom didn't have "fun" at my sister emily's wedding. so at my sister jordan's wedding she had two glasses of wine before the ceremony, then like 6 during the cocktail hour, then she got down with the martinis at the reception. she was "crumping" i think i may have you topped.
She also starts one heck of a conga line!
hahaha. . . honestly, that is hilarious. I loved the ginormous shamrock around her neck. so funny.
Oh that was wicked! Annabelle pointed and started laughing and said, "ha ha, siwwy (silly)"!
I love it. That little dance made me all happy inside. GO MOM!
Amy,
Weren't you just kind of like, "Oh! Nice moves, Mom!"
Does that make us as crazy because she doesn't look totally crazy to us?
lololololololololo
(I guess that translates to: laughing out loud out loud out loud out loud out loud out loud out loud out loud out)
I'm glad her genes have been passed on to other generations--there is hope for the world.
Look out Michael Flatley!!
thanks,I'm here all week:)
Apropos of nothing in particular ... did you know that Ritalin now comes in chewable form, and the pills're all shaped like your favorite Flintstone characters? They are easily crushable, too, and the grape ones? They can barely be detected if surreptitiously slipped into a glass of wine.
She is awesome!!!
Amy, your mother needs to be on America's Got Talent! She rocks!
More videos, please. Easter is coming up, you know... ;)
Is it bad that I was disappointed that white column on the left hand side wasn't solid, but some kind of doorway? I kept saying to myself "ooooh, she's going to smack right into that column and THAT's going to be HILLARIOUS!!" Still totally funny, but my twisted sense of humor was a tad sad that it didn't end in minor injury, Americas Funniest Video style.
I realized today that for months I have been missing out on reading my favorite blog. I am now trying to catch up, and this post made me laugh out loud in the school computer lab. Thank you!
Very nice article thanks for the sharing...........
