You know, actually, I'll just let James tell you.
This was the second take, when I was like, "C'mon buddy! Just pretend to be excited."
And this was the first take:
Oh yeah, the kid is totally thrilled.
I think he's a little confused about girl vs boy. Maybe you should get some anatomically correct dolls to show him!Oh and video tape that. I'd like to see it! ;)
Ooopps, I forgot to say. Congrats!!
CONGRATULATIONS!That's wonderful. As for James, he'll figure it out soon enough
Congrats!That's great news.
Yay! Girls are the best (as you know because you are one).
I love it when kids are so honest.I'm sure these videos just warmed your heart knowing how excited you might be at the chance for a daughter. :)He'll come around.Congratulations!I have one of each and they are inseperable!
Congrats!!!I told my mom that if it wasn't a sister, I was going to flush it down the toilet.I was 6.
congratulations Amy, he'll warm up, and start wrestling with her in no time. :)
Yay! I was "Thinking Pink" for you! Congratulations!!
CONGRATS on having a super sexy voice! being the first time hearing your voice, now i can totally "hear" you in your posts.so is that quilt with the puffy carebears on it tied with forest green yarn for the baby girl? cause if so i would probably change the forest green yarn to bright orange instead...it'll go better with her room.congrats!
congratulations! James will be a great big brother.
Congrats! I have yet to experience a girl, but I hear they are good people. :)
That is hilarious. Congratulations!
I know how he feels. I was so dissapointed to learn that I was getting a younger sister and not a brother. Congratulations all the same.
Yay for girls!!! He'll be a great big brother. Congrats!
Bummer, I mean, YAY!!! Trust me, James will be MUCH happier with a little sister. Wade doesn't leave Jaxon alone, and he HATES IT! :)
The only question that my brother answered about me when I was in the womb was, "What color hair do you think the baby will have?""Pink!"
Congratulations Amy! And that James is a doll! Here are a couple girl names that I think match your family names.Mary, Elizabeth, Camilla, Allison, Jenna, Jane, Tara
"Maybe when she comes I'll be excited". Hahahahaha! My father likes to tell the story of when he told my brother (who was 7 at the time) that I had been born. They were in the car and on their way to the hospital, when my father broke the news:- "Son, I want to give you the good news that you have a new sister."- "You mean the baby? The baby is a GIRL?"- "Yes, she is!"- "Turn off that radio, Dad! I don't want to listen to music anymore!"Of course, the moment he saw me, he was a goner. So there's hope!CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is very exciting, Amy! Congrats!
Congratulations! I love his reaction. I mean, doesn't every older sibling react like that? My brother tried to return me. Oh, that was just me? Never mind then. Seriously though, he's adorable!
Congratulations!! My oldest is a boy and my youngest is a girl and it is such a sweet dynamic.Quick cute story: My sister told my nephew that the new baby was going to be a brother and he angrily said, "But I'M the brother!!!" I guess you can never please them.Have fun and beware of the addiction of girls' clothing. I was never a pink person, nor did I particularly like girls' clothes until I became a mother of one. You'll see...
nothing, if not honest!
James is so freakin' cute... whether he wants a girl or not, he's cute. ;) Congratulations!!
I was WRONG? I'm a little in shock. But, wow - a girl! Yay! Pink, pink, purple, pink. And if she has James' hair and eyelashes, she's gonna be cute as all get out.
James, I just knew this would be your reaction! But you are going to be such a great big brother!! xo
Amy,Congrats!! I loved James' responses! I also love that he seems very dedicated to that flavaice! Here are some suggestions (spanish names of course :))Isidora, Graciella, Monica, javiera
It's hard to be excited about a sister when you have a tasty frozen treat to pay attention to.
I asked the neighbour's kid what he thought about his new sister and all he had to say was "she's hairy". That's boys for you.
Oh that's just too cute. Congrats. :)
CONGRATULATIONS! I have tears in my eyes, I'm so happy for you:-)James seems really happy too, lol!
That's hilarious. Let the sibling fun begin.Congratulations!
"Maybe when she comes I'll be excited..." I love it!!! He is so cute! I think he'll be a great big brother, he just doesn't know it yet :) Congrats on the girl! They are tons of fun! I never thought I'd be into girly girl stuff, but it sucks you in once you have one! *I'm* still not a girly girl, but she's getting that way! Is it creepy that I have this weird compulsion to make you a quilt now? (That's just the only thing I know to do when someone is having a baby!)
Love him. Great video to show him later in life when sister understands and they're watching it together...she'll probably slug him.
This is HILARIOUS! So great that it's a girl! I'm excited for you guys!
this is the cutest/saddest thing i've ever seen
Congratulations!Maybe it's the reality of the baby and not the sex that is kind of overwhelming to him? Let's hope.
Very nice thanks for the sharing...........___________________SmarryThe only Satellite Television Delivers the Best Value in Entertainment
