Christmas Recap

December 26, 2008

I hope everyone had an excellent Christmas!

Here in Maine, we took joy in scaring the shiz out of our next door neighbors*...

We practiced the patented Lawson smile...

We played in the snow...
As soon as January 1st rolls around, this snowman is buying a gym membership. And my father? He's resolved to practice his facial expressions in the bathroom mirror for ten minutes every morning.

On Christmas Eve we reenacted the Christmas story, farm animals and all. When James heard we were dressing up, he insisted on wearing his bat costume from Halloween. I said no. He thought for a minute, and decided he'd rather be a ghost. I was like, "Fine. But can we at least settle on the Holy Ghost?"

The final result was breathtaking...
That's right, Joseph's turban was all thanks to me.

Happy Friday, everyone!
*FYI: trigger locked, unloaded, and James was out with Grandma--and yeah, totally kidding about the neighbor thing.

I think the Holy Ghost has scared the hump right off that camel. And the joy right out of those "shepheds". :)

Looks like a great time - happy holidays!

Wait a minute, a Christmas Story didn't have camels and kids with turbans. It had a Red Rider BB Gun and little Randy complaining about not being able to put his arms down!

Wait...wrong Christmas Story.

Okay Amy, I don't know if it's because I recently gave birth or because this post was really that funny but I laughed so hard I think a little pee came out.

I heard that first podcast you did with Vanilla & Nitmos; and I just read Sarah II's comment; and I have to wonder why women who pee themselves feel compelled to follow you around.

I peed myself while writing this comment. Not because I think my comment is funny - it's not - but just because I could. I was , uh ... putting the "Pee" into "Peeace On Earth Good Will Toward The Men's Room".
