Blast from the Past

February 24, 2009

In honor of the most excellent concert tickets that I scored this morning (and by 'scored' I mean charged with Discover--not won), I'd like to post a link to this story that I wrote back in 2007.

What a blast from the past, huh?

A year-and-a-half later I've finally graduated from my career as a babysitter, it now takes me approximately 45 years to run 9 miles, and that x-ray machine we secured? Well, these days we have our very own garage for it to sit in.

I love my life!

Oh, and you can look for a post about Friday's church dance later in the day--be prepared for a major letdown. Seriously.

I perfectly remember that post. Awesome. Maybe you'll run into that big Mormon-loving girl. :)

I've been waiting breathlessly (well, almost)to hear about the dance! Hurry up, will ya? (This from someone who hasn't updated her own blog in a million years.)

Whoppers and cheese. Sounds like its gonna be a smelly night! :-)

I went back and read that blast from the past. Hilarious! I remember that post, and remember wondering if it was a true story. I think Sarah filled me in on how crazy and spontaneous you are. :-)
Then I had to go and find some Indigo Girls on Youtube and hear what I've been missing. They're really good! Now I see why the obsession.

I'm amazed that anyone can run 9 miles, however long it takes. I'm thrilled if I can run for 9 minutes...
OK, fine. 1 minute.

How cool is it that you have that perfect day recorded for posterity?

Hey- There is a postcard on postsecret.com this week about the indigo girls. The one before it is nice too-- about a girl hiding her husband's things when he leaves them around the house. :)
