James is getting very, very excited for Christmas--he keeps saying something about Geotrax that were born in a stable in Battle-ham. I don't know, it's hard to make it out.
Everywhere I turn, there seem to be happy little reminders that my kid is simply bubbling over with holiday happiness. For example:
James likes to select a favorite branch and move fifty-or-so ornaments to the very tip. I swear, if you listen really hard, you can actually hear the tree moan and complain in a New York accent every time James enters the living room.
Here is another example of James just bursting at the seems with Christmas spirit:
Oh no, that's his regular smile--it's Email the Bear who's looking extra jazzy. James won't even let his favorite pink pal wear a Manny Ramirez jersey. But a pointy hat and some jingle-bell elf shoes? Hell yes.
And finally, this is a short video of James lip-syncing to his all-time favorite holiday tune--Have a Holly Jolly Christmas. The audio is terrible, and the camera makes a really nasty noise every time I zoom and unzoom--but no no, don't be fooled, that is in fact a drawn out fart at second 35. And yes, it's long enough to close out the song. So proud of the little guy!

SHUT UP.
Now, it may appear to the average on-looker that James is incapable of singing...
But to ME??? He's a genius, taking on the same type of lip syncing as a little stuffed polar bear at exactly all the right moments. Someday he's going to impersonate a very famous person and be SPOT ON. And famous.
Very cute!
I've heard him sing that song so well so many times, but he IS trying to lip sync!! That in itself is funny because he is so bad at it..our tree was also decorated by James and it's a lowrider, too! Are you kidding about second 36? I hear the camera noise, but is that really him? but then again whose kid is he? :))) See you soon James...can't wait! xo
I always have a Holly Jolly Christmas, whether I like it or not. But thanks to James, I'm sure it will be both Hollier and Jollier this year.
I can't believe how big he's gotten! The lipsyncing was really funny, like the dubbed over japanese films! miss you guys!
If the podcast is anything to go by, your son has learned from the best. And he learned well. :)
Wow, he mouths just as well as any mouthers. You know, Britney, Beyonce, etc.
Hilarious.
I note you don't assign specific agency to that fart. So I must ask:
Him? Or you?
(I've blamed the dog for mine. But never my camera. I'll have to try it. And, okay, I admit, you imply it (the fart) was James'. But I can be so literal minded when i need to ...)
That is the cutest thing ever!
Finally caught the latest podcast.
You were absolutely laugh-outloud hilarious, sister!
He is adorable.
What is it with kids putting all the ornaments on one branch? Ava did that this year too, to two different trees!
priceless. love it.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, I appreciate it.
In response to your comment on my blog- I wish that people would learn that just because they think something in their head, does not mean they need to spew it from their mouths. If they didnt do this, I probably wouldnt want to smack people so often :)
Im sorry about your m/c, hang in there!
Regarding that fart: Is James available for the next podcast?
Wow that's a cute kid!
is it bad that i fastforwarded to second 35 and watched from there, and THEN i watched the whole thing in full? hee!
That's just too adorable.
That's some very cute lip-synching! Love the fart, too. :-) Hilarious!
